Combination of coarse and fine surge protection for telecommunication and signalling networks Designed to protect 2-wire telecommunication, data and other lines and the communication interface of measurement and control, electronic security and fire detection systems, etc. against pulse overvoltage. Longitudinal overvoltage (core – earth) is prevented by coarse surge protection. Lateral overvoltage (core – core) is prevented by a two-level combination of coarse and fine surge protection.
